Founded by Stacy and Scott in May 2024, Scuffed Boots Dance aims to revive country dancing in the South Sound, fostering a vibrant, inclusive community where people of all skill levels can connect through the joy of dance. Though they are still building their reputation, Stacy and Scott’s undeniable connection on the dance floor is a testament to their shared passion for country dance.
Their partnership is built on a deep love for the dance forms they teach, including two-step, line dancing, and West Coast swing. Together, they are eager to grow both as dancers and partners, looking forward to connecting with the dance community, making new friends, and creating fun, educational experiences for all.
Stacy has been dancing since childhood, developing a deep connection to rhythm and movement from an early age. Known for her exceptional musicality and style, she brings a unique energy to every dance floor. With years of experience across various dance styles, Stacy's passion for country dance has only grown stronger. Scott discovered his passion for dancing at a local country bar, where the lively atmosphere and infectious energy of the dance floor drew him in. From his first hesitant steps to learning intricate dance patterns, Scott immersed himself in the world of country dance. He spent countless hours refining his moves, attending workshops, and learning from seasoned dancers. His dedication and enthusiasm soon made him a familiar face in the local dance scene.
As they continue to expand, Stacy and Scott are actively seeking venues, instructors, and sponsors to help bring their vision to life and make country dance an integral part of the South Sound culture.
